    How you will impact Ingevity

    The Oilfield and Lubricants business analyst role will be a key member of the global team working for the product manager.  This role will be responsible for interfacing with key internal support functions such as supply chain, production, logistics, and sales teams proactively to drive and implement solutions and processes that support the Oilfield and Lubricants business needs.  Key activities include:

    • Create standard and custom reporting packages specifically around open order and forecast metrics for commercial team.
    • Support business leaders on financial analysis of the businesses
    • Proactively seek opportunities create other reports that would improve business operations.
    • Ownership for Salesforce.com
      • Maximize its capabilities and functionality to meet business needs
      • Create and implement a marketing automation program for businesses
    • Create and own business team rooms
    • Special projects as the business needs
    • Work with Product Manager to ensure alignment across functions (supply chain, logistics, production, etc.)
    • Aid in new sku setup – completing the commercialization form and process (process ownership, in coordination with internal departments)
    • Organization & ownership of private labels (process for storing & maintaining these within the business)
    • Non-technical regulatory request (when new SDS is needed, private labels for customers, etc.)
    • Creating sku extension requests needed by business to help execute on transloading, servicing customers, supply, & third-party setup
    • Help with special projects like (Opex initiatives, product mix optimization, long term sales control, etc.)

    What you need to succeed

    • Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, accounting, engineering or supply chain is highly preferred)
    • Expert level experience with Excel for pivot tables, spreadsheets, and other advanced functions required
    • Salesforce.com experience is a plus (but just experience with computer systems or any CRM is great)
    • Proficiency in Business Warehouse (BW) or other ERP system preferred (SAP highly preferred)
    • Team player who can work across business and operations functions while balancing multiple priorities
    • Analytical, responsive, self-starter, exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills
    • Previous experience providing timely, accurate, and relevant analysis of company business performance, markets, and competitive trends
    • Relocation assistance is not available
