    How you will impact Ingevity

    • Supervise direct and indirect schedulers between the Covington and Wickliffe carbon plants.
    • Oversee the implementation of the S&OP plan to a master schedule between the two carbon plants.
    • Manage and own the weekly detailed scheduling meeting with stakeholders from two facilities.
    • Work with Operations Systems Manager, Production Manager(s) and Charleston counterparts to establish viable metrics and standardized processes to support the S&OP process.
    • Improve the effectiveness of SAP production detailed scheduling system for the two domestic carbon plants.
    • Ensure inventory balance is sufficient at the plant and local regional warehouses to meet mixed loads for distribution from sites.
    • Monitor inventory targets of world carbon inventory provided by S&OP and coordinate with production on decisions to make changes (i.e.: slow down, shut down, longer campaigns) based off the targets.
    • Manage monthly production adherence report for Wickliffe and Covington carbon plants.
    • Monitor carbon inventory to coordinate production schedules meeting EOY division inventory goals.
    • Collaborate with business and plant needs to meet future production demands and outages.
    • Responsible for plant usage of planning/scheduling tools (i.e. APO) and supports the improvement of current and/or future tools to progress scheduling efficiencies.
    • Resolve short term supply issues (3-6 months).
    • Collaborate with S&OP planning team on storage capacity needs to execute plan.

    What you need to succeed

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with production planning and scheduling
    • Five years of supervisory experience.
    • Advanced user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SAP. Experience with APO and/or OMP planning software preferred.
