We are searching for a Contract Recruiter to join our team for the recruitment and selection of top talent for Ingevity.  

How you will impact Ingevity

  • Collaborates with business leaders to provide strategic support of business growth through workforce planning, position profiling, sourcing strategies, and consulting on selection & fit 
  • Responsible for facilitating an excellent candidate experience, from first contact to hire or rejection 
  • Works with HR Business Partners to identify internal talent and assess qualifications against business needs and available external talent 
  • Ensures presentation of diverse candidate slates for consideration and encourages strategic approaches for incorporating diversity in the search process 
  • Effectively markets Ingevity to candidates by providing compelling information about the company’s strategy, capabilities, performance, locations and employment value proposition 
  • Responsible for creating a positive customer experience through successful management of the interview and selection process, which includes facilitation of intake sessions, pre-interview calibrations, post-interview debriefs 

What you need to succeed

  • BA or BS degree in business, HR, or related fieldor equivalent recruiting experience 
  • 3 plus years of Recruiting experience with a focus on sourcing passive candidates and matching to cultural fit 
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting a wide range of roles, preferably manufacturing and supply chain, from early career to highly experienced professionals 
  • Strong interviewing skills and demonstrated mastery of behavioral interviewing 
  • Proven experience with diversity recruiting strategies 
  • Must possess strong business acumen and the ability to develop a deep understanding of strategic business priorities, success drivers in the organization, and understanding of the business model and functional operations 
  • Excellent skills in cold calling, internet sourcing and recruiting 
  • Proven client-orientation and strong client management skills 
  • Strong process orientation 
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, clients, and candidates 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills including, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Experience using and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System (we use iCIMS)
