How you will impact Ingevity

  • Execution of inventory movements within the third-party network
  • Manage scorecards and safety reporting
  • SAP troubleshooting and support
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Root cause analysis, complex problem solving and process optimization
  • Resolution of customer complaints and warehouse related shipping issues
  • Maintain and monitor reports related to inbound and outbound movements within 3PL network
  • Analysis of logistics costs and charges to insure payment accuracy and ensure cost savings
  • Training vendors as needed on SAP system and Ingevity expectations
  • OPEX support (direct and indirect)

What you need to succeed

  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to write and update complex formulas, build macros, and present numerical data in visual formats such as charts and pivot tables
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Team player with strong customer-focus and ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Driven, self-managed and results-oriented
  • College degree, preferably in business, supply chain or accounting
  • 2 - 5 years business experience in transportation, distribution, customer service, production planning, procurement, and/or information systems.
  • Leadership experience
  • Export/import and/or transportation experience
  • Experience working with 3rd party logistics providers and/or outsourced business processes
  • SAP or other ERP/TMS package experience
  • Winshuttle experience
